For example, the National Burglar Alarm and Fire Alarm Association commonly addressed as the NBFAA has served for more than 60 years. It has supported different projects to help further developments on technologies that focus on health and safety. Members of this association receive up to date information on products, development tools and different services to help in the prosperity and growth of businesses. It helps increase the awareness of integrated systems, and above all things, security. Some of the activities that the NBFAA supports includes training and media programs that support the development of new technology.

Around 70% of all the companies that give services related to safety systems and safety alarms including: video surveillance, access control and monitoring are members of the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association and serve a big number of commercial and residential customers.

5. Professional development through the National Training School which was founded in 1985 by NBFAA was able to meet the changing needs for training on electronic life. Now, the NTS still offers training, but the programs are more diverse and competent. Thousands of students are able to complete and get certification after attending at NTS.
